We do not take it lightly when we receive blogger awards because we are super grateful to be apart of the blogger community. Especially since our blogs are most features and guest blogs. Either way, we are appreciative your love and support.

Now before we show off our last Sunshine Blogger Award, we need to tell you what a Sunshine Blogger Award is.  According to Iva SaysAs for the Sunshine Blogger Award, it’s an award given by bloggers to other bloggers they find creative, talented and entertaining and here are the rules posted on her site:

The rules are:

  1. Thank blogger(s) who nominated you for a blog post and link back to their blog.
  2. Answer the 11 questions the blogger asked you.
  3. Nominate up to 11 new blogs to receive the award and write them 11 new questions.
  4. List the rules and display the Sunshine Blogger Award logo in your post and/or on your blog.

Now allow us to share our previous award with you: The Sunshine Blogger Award

Next, we want to thank Sunny LaRue for nominating us for such a generous award.

This may seem like a big to-do, but honestly, this is a big deal!

Here’s our Nominees: {You Can follow Them On Twitter}

Now that I got that out of the way here are my questions to my nominees:
1) What do you feel makes you different from any other writer
2)What inspires your writing
3Besides gender, what do you feel is the difference between male and female writers?
4)What makes you and your writing unique
5)How do you express yourself through your writing or your blog?
6)Name a female author that inspires you
7)Name your favorite female artist
8) As a writer, what is one thing that you feel you lack?
9)If you make any changes to make women’s lives better what would it be
10)Why do you think women have the rumor of having a hard time getting along?
11) If you could create a writing category that doesn’t exist what would it be?

Our Questions

What is the best part of being a blogger?

The best part about being a blogger or just writing, in general, is the freedom of it all. There is no right or wrong way to write. When you write it’s your deepest truth. So I love what I personally share on my website and I love that we feature and share genuine stories and tips on our website

What is the most difficult blog you have written?

I wrote this as a guest blog but I shared my experience with domestic violence and sexual abuse. It was difficult for me because, at the time that I wrote about my experience as a victim, I wasn’t quite ready to share. I was more ashamed than anything.

If you had a choice of being a color for 2 years what color would that be? & why?

I’m actually okay with my current chocolate color but if I could change things about myself I would be taller, thinner with longer hair. Growing up I was always teased about my chocolate skin tone, but when I grew and learned to accept that part of me. But some of the other things on the other hand….

If you can change one part of humanity what would you change?

If I could change anything I would change the laws for how people report either domestic violence and sexual abuse. It’s almost as if the victim is victimized just to report the incident. I would also create a program for people trying to make a change for their like. For example: If I could own a shelter-type home for homeless women and children.

Would you rather be a rock star or movie star? & why? If I had a choice, I would be a movie star. Movie stars have always made their living on the air look amazing.

If you could live anywhere in the world where would you live? I’m not quite sure where I would live but I know it’s up in a tree on a tropical island.

Who is faster the rabbit or the turtle? The rabbit is faster but the turtle is more focus.

If you were given an hour to be rich what would you do? I would buy a house for others to live in it. More of a rehab house.
