Our story began over 30 years ago when two high school kids met and fell in love and now are proud parents of three amazing adults and proud grandparents of one remarkable and beautiful little girl. Over the past 30 years, they have lived in different countries and states.
Ten years ago, the family chose to put down roots and life just gets better with every day. Lucky enough to have found a place in rural America that has the convenience of getting on the road and seeing the world and always being able to leave the craziness behind and watch the deer and other wildlife.
The family is contemporary. We are of several races, sexual orientations, and believe in helping others along the way in this beautiful life. The blog currently consists of the adventures of Gram and at times Gram and Princess G.
Gram is a mother, grandmother, consumer, writer, reviewer, traveler, and reluctant re-nester. Recently Princess G. has moved in and they have many adventures together as we learn and grow through the 21st Century as a modern family. Sometimes the trials and tribulations of life can be comical but in reality, the family is like everyone else, living one day at a time.
Between the Deer and Freeway blog just started out and is moving into blogging slowly and building a network with other like-minded bloggers and social media accounts.
The entire family loves to travel. Sharing the enjoyment of new experiences. Rarely do they do the same event, accommodations, or restaurant more than once. Life is too short to keep doing the same thing over and over.
The family currently still works outside of blogging and at this point. On the blog, you will find a lot of events that can be done for free or minimum expense.
Between the Deer And Freeway is a lifestyle blog where life is shared. Be it travel, food, humor, or even reviews. The latest blog postings have been about traveling to Norfolk, 4th of July in Philadelphia, Celebrating Mr. Rogers, and finding fun at the trolley museum.
