We are too excited about our upcoming 2019 Women Are Roses Award Ceremony that is taking place in Colorado on June 1,2019. During this event we will laugh, we will cry but most of all we will celebrate each other for everything that WE have done as women to inspire other women. One of this year’s Women Are Roses Honorees is Jennifer Anne Carfora. Please take moment to read about her now:

Jennifer Carfora is a spouse to an Active Duty Marine and currently resides in North Carolina with her husband James and two boys. She started her blogging journey back in June 2017 after her youngest son’s diagnosis of Dyrk1a Syndrome—a rare Chromosome Disorder. The diagnosis is so rare that at the time she was the 177th family to be diagnosed. She began her blog to document their adventures of meeting inch stones and hopefully helping another family. A few of her blog posts were featured on The Mighty and Scary Mommy which is a huge way to bring awareness about Dyrk1a Syndrome.

Since beginning her journey she has also included her life as a military spouse, her love for health and fitness, reviews, and even recipes! She’s a jack of all trades. She is also using her blog as a platform for other families to share their story and raise awareness called, Share Your Story. She knows the importance of social media bringing awareness to syndromes.

When Jennifer isn’t blogging she is shuffling her oldest son to the bus stop, taking her youngest to therapies three times a week, working on her health and fitness, and spending time with her husband of ten years. Amazingly she has opened a new Etsy store to make templates for Pinterest and Media Kits for bloggers. Like her blog she wanted to help others beginning their blogging journey find their own brand—thus Jennifer Carfora Co began!
