Recently, we asked female entrepreneurs the following question:
As a woman, if you could share anything about yourself that makes you different from any other woman, what would you share?
Today this question was answered by writers and cousins, Andrea and Lexi from Words Between Coasts

I feel very lucky that I am able to say that Lexi is more than just a cousin to me – she is a friend, despite the fact that we live so far away from each other (she lives in New York and I live in Los Angeles.) Her loyalty and dedication to the people she loves are traits that I so admire in her. We met for the first time when we were teenagers, and in all our years of knowing each other, she has always stayed by my side, through the good and the bad. She is the type of person who will drop everything and run to you if you need her. Family has always come first for her. I’ve seen her take care of our cousins and her brothers and sister without complaining and with the utmost love and respect. She has also proven time and time again her dedication to our blog. Also, she writes these incredible songs on the guitar with the most beautiful lyrics. I’ve always wished that I could write songs like her, and I will get her to play them for people one day!! She is a powerful woman, a great role model for others.

I believe Andrea’s creativity makes her the most unique. Andrea and I founded Words Between Coasts in August 2018. We are two cousins who live across the country. She lives in LA, and I in NY. Prior to starting WBC, we have always collaborated creatively (songs, screenplays, stories, essays, etc), despite living so far.  Andrea is a working actor in California, and one of the hardest working people on this planet. Every hour of her day is scheduled, between working at a local ice cream shop, to production meetings, all day acting classes, filming, rehearsals, and countless auditions, all while making time for our ever-growing passion project, Words Between Coasts. She takes her craft seriously because it’s such a fundamental part of her being. Her ability to connect her love of the arts in every aspect of her being makes her special. When she speaks about her passions it’s as if it is part of the sun’s warmth.
