Recently, we asked female entrepreneurs and writers the following question:
As a woman, if you could share anything about yourself that makes you different from any other woman, what would you share?
Today this question was answered by blogger Robyn over at Robyn Writes
The spirit of a warrior
I think, the thing that makes me different from other women I know is my spirit. I have a fighting spirit that even when the odds are stacked high against me, I come back fighting. I don’t have much help around me with regard to looking after my kids, my parents live far away and my sister in other countries, my husband is self-employed so his wages are vital to us, which means that I don’t have any extra help, of I’m ill it’s tough toenails I just have to deal with it the majority of the time- and date nights are out if the question for us. To make it this far I’ve overcome depression a beaten eating disorders, and I had to do it in my own. I think it’s that, that pure grit and determination, to be something and make something of my life and to develop a personality in a world when I didn’t feel like I had one. That’s what makes me different.
