What do I say to that one person that may be either a friend or family member that always need something? Sometimes more than you have or are willing to give.

What do I say to that one person that can never seem to get back up on their feet for one reason or another? It may be due to a job loss, divorce, or some other unexpectedly setback that they just can’t seem to get it right.

How do you help a person that refuses to help themselves? They have all the answers for everyone else except themselves.

Would you believe me if I told you that I’m the person that always need something? I can’t really figure out what that something is that I always I need from everyone else. Sometimes it could be as simple as when the other person answers the phone then I realize that I only needed to hear a calming voice. What if I told you that the person that always need a friend is me?

What if I told you that I’m the person that is miles and miles away from the dreams that my family hoped for me? I’m sure they dreamed I would grow up, go to college and be successful. Why am I so many miles from the success in their minds? Why isn’t a success as easy as I planned it in my head?

What if I told you that I create every excuse for every piece of advice I’ve ever been given? I’m not smart enough, I’m not good enough, I have kids and my favorite is I’m too broke to do it? If there was ever a book of excuses I am the author of it. I am the creator of excuses when it comes to my goal and what I could accomplish.

We live in a society where people are notorious for talking about others and pointing out the downfalls of others but forget to examine themselves. {Tweet This}

Truth is the negative thoughts we could think or say about others we could really say to the person in the mirror.-LK
