Keep Your Hustle Holy

Inspiration

Have you ever heard the saying “Dreams Demand Hustle”?

Many times, we think of Hustle in a negative context. It can mean to swindle or force or even be associated with fraud, but Hustle by simple definition is really just movement, activity or action.

We all have dreams – so we all need Hustle. The right kind of Hustle!

Sometimes we can force things in a way that we leave little or no room for the Holy Spirit to guide our movement or actions and if we move from abiding to striving our activity and actions can be less than Holy if we aren’t careful.

I recently heard a simple formula for success and gaining victory by Pastor Jentezen Franklin. He said to Discern, Decide, and Declare what we want and need in every situation. As I pondered on that – I have to agree. This is a great formula.

So here is my formula to Keep Our Hustle Holy:

We must discern our situations, our goals, our aspirations and our acquaintances.

We need to decide if they are in line with God’s vision and our vision of what we want to accomplish or where we want to go or grow.

Finally, we must declare that we are pushing through all obstacles without doubting, unbelief and especially without running over or running down others.

We must be actively in action in everything – everyday so that God’s plans and purposes and our dreams all come into alignment.

This great Promise is a simple way to do just that.

Put your heart and soul into every activity you do, as though you are doing it for the Lord himself and not merely for others.
~Colossians 3:23 TPT

You see, when we do everything as though we are doing it unto God, there won’t be a need to compete or criticize.
There won’t be a meaningless striving and spinning our wheels. We will be determined to discern each situation, decide if it’s inline with God and our goals, and we will be able to declare without doubt that God who started a good work in us will faithfully finish what He started.

Our Hustle can’t be anything but Holy if we are letting God’s Spirit lead us.
