Inspiration|About a thief

John 10:10 (NIV)The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

John 10:10 (KJV) The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

What does this scripture mean for us as Christians?

This scripture was chosen as today’s inspiration because often times we go through something but we never remember scriptures that can help us get over that hump. Truth is for everything you experience in life there’s a scripture to help get you through it. Whether its marriage issues, issues with family, children, work related issues there’s a scripture to help you make it through. People have a hard time getting through their “issues” because they either forget about God’s promises or they never knew His promises written to us via scripture.

What’s amazing about this scripture is the the warning:

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy

This may seem petty but let’s look up the definition of a THIEF:

A thief is noun, plural thieves and defined im the dictionary as

a person who steals, especially secretly or without open force; one guilty of theft or larceny.

Notice that neither the scripture or the dictionary states what the THIEF will steal, kill or destroy WHY because only the person impacted will know that value.

But here’s one thing we do know for sure is that THIEVES only want things of value. So what’s of value to you? Is it your peace, your life, your family or etc?

Remember the promises of this scripture that states: I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

Today remember to PROTECT your assets don’t allow the enemy to “steal, kill or destroy”!
