An Amber Alert was issued Saturday night after Glenn Heights police say a teenage girl was kidnapped while walking home with friends.Police received a call from the father of 17-year-old Keidra Kirby saying she had been taken around 7 p.m. in the 400 block of Stargazer Road.
Kirby and two other girls were walking home when a white van with a driver and two masked men inside pulled up, grabbed her and put her in the back of the van, police said.
The two witnesses described the van as having dark tinted windows, dual rear doors and an empty equipment rack on top.
Kirby is black, 5-foot-9 and 165 pounds. She was wearing a red tank top and blue jean shorts and blue flat shoes. She also has a single braid in her hair on the right side and a tattoo of a rose and her name on her right calf.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and the FBI are assisting police in the investigation.
