A 67-year-old woman,Alice Wilson was found slain Wednesday night in her north Fort Worth home after her granddaughter was pulled over in Palo Pinto County, acting strangely and covered in blood.Alicee Vyonn Wilson, 31, is accused in her grandmother’s death.

Santo volunteer firefighters had spotted the 2012 Kia — going about 70 mph with the front left wheel riding on a bare rim — about 5:18 p.m., traveling south on U.S. 281 from Interstate 20, according to Chief Deputy Craig Goen of the Palo Pinto County Sheriff’s Department.

“They got her flagged down and asked if she needed some help because she looked like she had some kind of medical condition,” Goen said.Goen said she was acting erratically, giving officers two different false names, refusing to answer questions. and claiming she had been in the country for only two days after arriving from Puerto Rico. She was detained for failure to identify, Goen said.
Goen said the officers enlisted the help of the Texas Rangers and Fort Worth police to find the owner of the car.

Fort Worth officers went to a home in the 3100 block of Rosen Avenue, where the car’s registered owner lived, and found the woman dead inside about 8:20 p.m.“It appears she was stabbed to death,” homicide Detective Matt Barron said.

The Tarrant County medical examiner’s office identified the victim Friday as Alice Wilson, the suspect’s grandmother. Her cause of death was ruled as multiple stab wounds.Alicee Wilson was in the Palo Pinto County Jail Thursday afternoon facing a charge of murder. Her bail was set at $500,000, Goen said.Tarrant County court records show that Wilson has numerous misdemeanor convictions dating to 2011, including theft, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct.

  1. My grand children maternal great-grandmother. Didn’t know how she past but she was the glue that kept the family and others together! I still have recording of her on my voice system and listen to often as she share love for our families! She didn’t deserve to cross over in such terrible way! Her love still radiants!
