Should we be mad at Stacey Dash?

Recently Stacey’s topics about BET and Black History Month has really been a interesting trending topic to say the least.

Read what she said below:

We have to make up our minds. Either we want to have segregation or integration, and if we don’t want segregation, then we have to get rid of channels like BET and the BET Awards and the Image Awards, where you’re only awarded if you’re black,” she continued. “If it were the other way around, we’d be up in arms. It’s a double standard. There shouldn’t be a black history month. We’re Americans, period.”

This isn’t the first time that Stacey’s mouth got her into trouble because recently she was suspended from Fox for two weeks for saying she didn’t give a &@#$ on air…

Read actress and television host, Whoopi Goldberg’s response to Dash’s statement

But the thing is, [black history] is not taught. Asian history is not taught in school as it pertains to America. American history holds all of us, and [Dash] is right in that, yes we are all Americans, but we’re not all treated like Americans. One of the reasons that there is a BET is because networks wouldn’t take a lot of shows that has an all black cast.”

If you see the recent hashtag #whoisstaceydash on social media it’s because Mrs. Gabrielle Union Wade made it very popular..

Recently Gabrielle Union, was asked what she thought about Stacey Dash and her recent comments about ending shows like BET and Black History Month and anything related and Union’s response was, “who’s that, who’s Stacey Dash. Is she like related to Damon Dash? Was she on Roc-A-Fella?”  “I heard of a crazy lady once, but I don’t know what her name is.”

  1. I feel that celebrities receive money and take God out of the equation. Oblivious to the fact that God giveth and taketh away! That is only if their good fortune was a blessing from God. If it is a promise of Satan in order to turn their back on God their lot is eternal fire. They are enjoying now and it may last as long as they live but there will be a price to pay when our heavenly Father returns. The Bible was given to us in Love and adoration and I will let that be my story read back to me in the Book of Life. We as African Americans need to educate ourselves and go back to the days when our parents and forefathers stuck together and loved our neighbors and our neighbors’ children as our own family. Maybe then we will become stronger as a community. We rather put each other down and sell our souls for fame and fortune, but what does that really amount to in the end. Love is eternal!!!

  2. Being from a multi- racial family consisting of African American, Cherokee Indian and Caucasian, I feel it is time to stop this racial separatism. It’s appalling that in 2016 we are still going through racial divide. I was raised to love all people regardless of race or religious beliefs.

    1. Lydia you said a mouthful.. Its crazy but the division seems to be amongst celebrities..God bless people and they still bash each other…Also its time for the African American race to stick together and be one unit…Others races can’t respect what we dont
