Shea Moisture Products
I love using Shea Moisture Products so of course I was excited when they introduced the new products for their new line, the “Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen, Grow, & Restore”.  In this line, they introduced a new shampoo, conditioner (that came out later than the original release), masque, leave-in conditioner, a styling lotion, edge treatment, and a hair serum.

So I decided to pick up the leave-in conditioner and hair masque (I will have a review on this pretty soon).  After I wash and conditioned my hair, I sectioned and detangled my hair using coconut oil to seal in the moisture.  I then applied the leave-in conditioner (I used this conditioner as both a leave-in and a styler) by doing two strand twist.  I kept the two strand twist in for a day and untwisted them the next day for a twist out:

Day 1 Twist Out

Day 2 Twist Out
Day 2 Twist Out
Let me say that I love this product and it may be one of my holy grails.  I love the definition it gave my hair and my hair was so soft and shiny.  To put it to the test, I went a full 6 days (Sunday being the day that I first wore my twist out to Friday, the last day that I wore my hair out before wash day) to see if my hair became dry or frizzy.  At night, I just put my hair into a pineapple and wrap it with a scarf and in the morning, I would take down my pineapple, shake and shape my hair, and go:

I was truly satisfied with the results.  My hair was not dry, still soft, and held the twist out definition pretty well. The product comes in a 16 oz. container and it has a sweet smell to me (really didn’t smell like Jamaican Black Castor Oil).  The only con (and this con can be fixable) that I can find about this product is that the product is pretty thin, so I think it should have been in a pump dispenser type bottle (like the wash out conditioner):
