Mother’s Day Celebration|Remembering Mama

If I described my mom to anyone I would have to say my mom was strict and didn’t tolerate any foolishness. My mom gave birth to 12 kids. What I remember most about my mom is her taking me fishing and taking me to church. My mom, Mary Frances Tucker-Jones was from Augusta, Georgia and as a kid I remember how hard my worked. I also remember my mother owning a restaurant in Georgia in order to provide for us. The values that I learned from my mother was to stay consistent and to work hard. I feel that my mother’s love and her teachings is what kept me out of trouble and kept me on the straight and narrow and I thank her for that.
I will always love and appreciate my mama,
Darrell Tucker
